Rehearsals are underway for ICHK’s annual school production.

The new original production will be performed at school on two evenings next month.

WONDER.LAND? is a bold, immersive, multimedia re-imagining of Alice’s story. This is not the whimsical world you remember. Our Alice is older and questioning her own memories. When a clinical treatment from Dr White fractures reality, the audience will travel with her — through corridors, into hidden rooms, and down a rabbit hole where Wonderland itself feels unstable.

Performed across multiple spaces and featuring powerful ensemble movement, projection, puppetry, and original devised work from students across year groups, WONDER.LAND? explores identity, authority, and the question at its heart:

Was Wonderland ever imaginary — or was it the only place she was truly free?

With students collaborating as performers, designers, devisers, and ensemble, this promises to be one of our most ambitious and creative productions yet.

Anyone who has been fortunate enough to be in the audience for one of our award-winning shows will know that ICHK’s Arts Department has a miraculous talent for staging the most extraordinarily complicated, intricate, compelling, and absorbing ensemble performances.
