It’s been a fantastic week with finals for all three of our touch teams.

Both the U14 Boys and U20 Mixed teams won their super finals against the Gold Division winners to be crowned the undisputed number one teams in the 2023-24 ISSFHK season.

The U14 boys defeated Harrow 5-2 and the whole team should feel immensely proud of their collective and individual efforts and achievements this season.

The U20 Mixed team also finished the season on a high defeating Australian International in a thrilling super final game of Gold v Silver divisions to become the undisputed number one international school team in Hong Kong. The final score was 10-6.

The U14 Girls played Australian International and were disappointed to lose their only game of the season against a team they had beaten once in the league already.

However, loss can be a huge motivation and after both the U14 Boys and U20 Mixed teams fell at the final hurdle and tasted bitter defeat last season, we could see that some players were spurred on to improve as a team.

The ISSFHK experiment with Gold and Silver divisions is over and from next year we will be playing in tiered divisions based on the standard of each team. The touch teams can be confident when they compete with all the very best teams from around Hong Kong.
