IB students took part in a Theory of Knowledge exhibition.

Our Year 13s had to choose and present on three objects to try and address and answer questions around what knowledge is and where it comes from.

The exhibition forms one of the two assessments in the IB Theory of Knowledge course, and assesses the ability of the student to show how TOK manifests in the world around us.

Students were given a series of exhibition question prompts from which they had to select one to focus on.

The question prompts included: ‘What counts as good evidence for a claim?’ ; ‘Are some types of knowledge more useful than others? ; ‘What challenges are raised by the dissemination and/or communication of knowledge?’ ; ‘What role do experts play in influencing our consumption or acquisition of knowledge?’

The exhibition allowed for a lively exchange of ideas and the Y13s are to be congratulated on all their hard work.
