Music Studies
Students are enjoying a wonderful programme of music at school.
Students of year 7 have been recording different sounds in nature as part of a creative lesson this week.
They have also been designing hand signs for the music game ‘soundpainting’, which uses the language of gestures to communicate with musicians to create a composition.
Year 8 students have been learning the ukulele and Year 10s have been developing musicianship through drum jamming.
The classes are all part of our Music programme, which is run by Phoebe Wong, and is aimed at sharing the joy of music through exploring, improvising and experiencing.
