ICHK students have been immersed in Spanish culture and language, in the beautiful cities of Madrid and Seville.

Our European study trip has offered rich cultural experiences and language exchange.

Students have been learning about traditional customs and culture and developing their communication skills.

They have been exploring the vibrant cities of Madrid and Seville, experiencing Spain’s rich traditions first hand.

Students visited an IB school for an exchange with local students, allowing them to engage in bilingual discussions. They enjoyed culinary workshops, walking tours around Madrid, visits to the Parque del Retiro, a Roman archaeological site and the Real Madrid stadium, and a flamenco dance lesson.

This is the first language and culture trip we have arranged in Spain, and as well as enriching language study, it offered invaluable opportunities for growth in our students.

They were immersed in Spanish language and culture, and exposed to an incredible range of learning experiences, as well as enjoying the hospitality of their host families.

Students have returned to school with increased confidence and resilience as a result of their experiences.
