A rainy day at school has provided musical inspiration for Year 7s.

Students spent time recording different sounds around the campus as part of a creative Music lesson.

They captured the sound of the rain, jumping in water, an air machine and a range of other sounds before organising them into a programme.

As part of Year 8 music lessons, students explored their vocal range and learned to sing in different styles.

The Year 9 band has also been practising, working on performances of ‘Blinding lights’ and ‘Riptide’.

The classes are all part of our Music programme, which is run by Phoebe Wong, and is aimed at sharing the joy of music through exploring, improvising and experiencing.
