BTEC Music students have been performing at Hong Kong’s AIA Carnival.

The year 11 students gave a performance on the Community Stage, as part of their BTEC assessment.

It was a unique opportunity for them to experience performing on a professional outdoor stage.

They were able to present their programmes to a live public audience, gaining valuable real-world performance experience and developing their confidence and professional skills.

Year 9 and 10 Music students and those in the Pop Band Tuesday activity also attended, allowing them to learn how to be a supportive and respectful audience and providing a clear understanding of what to expect in the senior music programme in the coming years.

Our students were commended for their performances and the way they conducted themselves.
