Hispanic Culture Festival
ICHK students triumphed at a hugely successful Hispanic Culture Festival.
Our students staged their biggest ever performance at the annual event, with a musical comedy piece entitled ‘Students at the verge of a nervous breakdown’.
The team composed of 14 students, ranging from 11 to 18 years of age, who have been rehearsing together for the past three weeks.
Their play was a fantastic assortment of talent and efforts, which showcased an original choreography piece ; an original flamenco-pop inspired song; the recitation of a classical poem and an original rap with beat base.
The students were awarded ‘Best multi-media art performance (dance, singing, guitar, recitation)’ by the Festival Committee.
The event, presented by Hong Kong Spanish Speech and Culture Festival, was a wonderful showcase of Spanish language and culture related arts, including music, poetry, dance, drama, comedy.
It was attended by hundreds of guests including parents, teachers, sponsors, and an advisor to the Education Office of Spain in China, in a return to pre-covid levels.
