In 2025, ICHK became a double-award winner in the inaugural Greater Bay Area International School Awards.

We were named winner of the ‘Innovative Teaching and Learning’ award, in recognition of our unique approaches to learning through Curriculum X and the series of innovative learning experiences that we have developed in recent years.

In addition, we were one of three winners of the Public Choice Award, with more votes than the other shortlisted schools.

The awards event was attended by hundreds of education leaders from across the Greater Bay area. Produced by the 21CL and integrated with the 21CLHK Conference 2025, it recognised educational innovation and excellence in the Greater Bay Area and the organisers received 80 submissions from close to 40 different schools.

We are very proud of our Curriculum X programme, which has been developed and refined for a number of years, and immerses students in authentic, real world environments and activities.

The awards came on the heels of growing international interest in our innovations, programmes and curricula, as ICHK develops a reputation as a centre of influence and inspiration.
