Year 10 students have all completed an overnight expedition.

Teams of students spent time navigating, hiking, cooking and camping in different parts of the territory.

All Year 10s took part in the expedition, in keeping with our mission to promote the enjoyment of outdoor pursuits.

For some students, the occasion counted as the expedition section of the Hong Kong Award for Young People.

The AYP is an internationally recognised award which promotes student independence. Students need to pursue activities in the four categories of skill, physical recreation, service and expedition.

ICHK students complete the award as its goals exactly match our aims to develop the critical skills of collaboration, problem solving and decision-making.

The expedition was a fantastic opportunity for the students to work as part of a team and develop key life skills.
