A University preparation programme is underway for our Year 13s, as they look ahead to the next stage in their lives.

ICHK's graduating students will be taking up places at universities around the world after the summer, and are being supported in the transition by their form tutors.

A specially designed programme has been put together to help prepare them, as part of their revised timetables after their IB exams were cancelled.

Flora Lai and Martin Clarke have been guiding the students, educating them about the world of banking, insurance, cooking, kitting out a flat – in short, everything they need to know to ready them for independent living.

As part of the programme, the students have produced their very own cookbook, filled with tasty and nutritious meals that they can cook and enjoy.

They are also looking forward to speaking to, and learning from ICHK alumni, about their experiences of university life.

The programme is in addition to their work to complete the Mastery Transcript, allowing them to be among the first graduates in the world of the new qualification.
