We are delighted to announce that we will be offering BTEC Level 3 courses at ICHK next year.

From August we will be offering BTEC International programmes in Sport; Business; Art and Design and Creative Media.

Each qualification is equivalent to one UK A-Level and provides students with a comprehensive two-year industry-aligned programme, equipping them with immediate professional skills and progression to higher education.

The new qualification means that senior students will be able to choose from four possible pathways - the IB Diploma, BTEC International Level 3 (Subsidiary Diplomas), a Hybrid (mix of IB Courses and BTEC International Level 3 courses) or ASDAN course.

As part of their academic journey, students can also complete the ICHK Transcript, which values and recognises them for all their attributes, capabilities, passions, achievements, and interests, not just for their academic abilities, and is a strong addition to their portfolios.

As an inclusive school serving a diverse student population, we seek to provide a wide range of pathways through Years 7 to 13. We are proud that students have a variety of courses from which to choose in a community school setting, complemented by a wide selection of co-curricular activities to provide a truly well-rounded education.

Introducing these new qualifications marks another significant point in the development of ICHK, as we continue to search for better ways to help young people learn and attain their ambitions and aspirations.
