Congratulations to the ICHK students who won a haul of medals in the Hong Kong Junior Mathematics Competition.

A team of 12 students from Years 10 and 11 took part in the World Mathematics Championships event.

They competed in the categories of Dynamic, Technical, and Alliance, testing their knowledge against students from other Hong Kong international schools.

We are delighted that the team won a gold, silver and bronze medal in the Alliance category, and a bronze in Dynamic.

In recent weeks, the students have successfully completed online sessions. On Sunday they took part in five rounds at the event at Korean International School, including individual and team sessions. All were aimed at developing their maths skills, giving them the opportunity to collaborate with schoolmates and students from other schools to solve challenging problems.

We commend the students on their hard work and effort and we look forward to more young mathematicians participating in the competition next year.
