An incredible week of learning has been enjoyed as part of ICHK’s exchange programme.

A group of students and teachers spent a week at Nengren Middle School in Jiangsu, where they were immersed in Chinese language and culture.

They enjoyed a tremendous week, taking part in many different activities, and enjoying the hospitality of their host families.

The trip provided a fantastic opportunity for them to practise their Mandarin and also learn more about Chinese culture.

The students enjoyed a packed programme of lessons and activities along with visits to Zhouzhuang water town and the Dongbuzhou Industrial District, where they enjoyed time in a museum, art gallery, a biotechnology company and a drama workshop. They also attended a special school ceremony for new year 7 students.

The exchange programme is aimed at enriching language study, but more than that it offers invaluable opportunities for growth in our students.

We are already looking forward to welcoming the Nengren teachers and students for their visit to ICHK in February.
