The inaugural ICHK parent book club has been held.

A group met to discuss The Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt.

Attendees had an engaging conversation about the topics covered in the book: teen mental health, technology use, encouraging independence and resilience in children, and how to promote good habits around digital devices.

The club has been set up to bring parents together in a relaxed setting to discuss issues of relevance and share thoughts and ideas. It is part of our commitment to community learning, and it is hoped that as well as being a social occasion, it will help parents to navigate some of the challenges they may face.
