Maths Relay Competition
Maths learning moved outside of the classroom this week.
Students in Years 7-9 brought high energy and intense focus to the hall for a fast-paced, action-packed Maths Relay competition.
Working in teams, they showcased their mathematical thinking by solving a series of problems, associated with our maths curriculum.
It was a thrilling event as teams raced against the clock and each other, blending physical endurance with mental agility to secure the top scores.
The atmosphere was highly competitive, with every student finding a unique way to contribute to their team's success. While some took on the physical challenge of sprinting across the hall to collect questions, others acted as the ultimate "brain masters," working furiously to solve the complex mathematical problems. Meanwhile, dedicated teammates stepped up as cheerleaders, keeping team spirits high and motivation peaking throughout the relay. Every single student gave their absolute best effort, making it a spectacular display of collaboration and house pride.
When students are involved and engaged in their learning, they are more likely to develop a love of learning and a lifelong curiosity about the world around them.
A huge congratulations to all the participants for their incredible hard work and determination. Well done to the winners!
