ICHK’s Head of Languages Nicolas Arriaga has successfully taken on the significant role of a Workshop Leader for the International Baccalaureate Educator Network (IBEN), contributing to the advancement of global education standards.

Following rigorous IBEN professional development, Nicolas has now been assigned to train and update fellow IB Diploma Language B teachers from across the Asia-Pacific region. His participants are educators of diverse foreign languages, including English, Spanish, Chinese, French and Indonesian.

Nicolas has just returned from his latest assignment in Singapore, where he joined a gathering of nearly 200 IB educators from different subjects.

He brings back a wealth of innovative ideas and exemplary teaching practices, mutually shared by educators worldwide, which will directly benefit our community of students and teachers.
