ICHK has joined the ‘Get Redressed’ campaign again thanks to a group of Year 12 students.

The students have been working on the project as part of their IB CAS portfolio.

They organised a dress down day at school which raised almost $3,000 and a clothes collection drive for the charity Redress.

All the clothes collected will receive a second life through re-sale, re-use or recycling.

Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) is at the core of the IBO’s Diploma Programme, and it is one of its greatest attractions to universities and employers.

It involves students in a range of self-chosen learning experiences enabling them to enhance their personal and interpersonal development beyond academic subjects, by exploring new areas and diving deeper into areas that most interest them.

We would like to thank the students for supporting the campaign and helping to raise awareness of the environmental impact of the fashion industry.
