Students of IB English have been working on developing their skills of textual analysis.

Year 13 students took part in a hands-on lesson this week under the guidance of their teacher Natalie Bailey.

The picture shows how they worked on improving the structure of their analytical responses by restructuring an exemplar response.

They were then asked to match the criteria to justify why this was an effective response.

Textual analysis is a core part of both the Language and Literature IB course.
