Gardening Project
Gardening has taken root as an activity offered both to students in the +1 Centre, as well as during Tuesday activity time.
Students are enjoying all the many benefits of their work, including contact with nature and getting oxygenated outside of the classroom. They are learning through interactive science experiments, as well as thinking about healthy eating, learning persistence, responsibility and patience.
Grow kits have been donated to help get the students off to a good start, and they are hoping to see some plant and herb shoots emerge in the coming days and weeks.
