A farewell was said to one of ICHK’s founding members, who ended his term on the Board of Governors.

Simon Walton, who is Head of School at JIS has been on the ICHK board since the earliest days of the school.

JIS, along Hong Lok Yuen International School and Kingston International School, joined together in 2005 to work to set up a secondary school, providing a pathway for the three primaries.

It was thanks to the vision and determination of the three school heads and boards that ICHK was established.

Simon, who is pictured at the official opening of ICHK, attended his final board meeting this week, before he retires and leaves Hong Kong.

He is owed a tremendous thanks for everything he has done for ICHK.
