ICHK students are once again celebrating impressive results in their IB, IGCSE and BTEC examinations.

In the IBDP our students achieved in line with their predicted grades and importantly, each secured the university courses they had selected before the exams. Our average score was 33.6 points, higher than the global average of 30.9. Our highest score was the maximum of 45 points, with four students scoring at or above 40 points.

As always, this year's cohort reflected a wide range of academic profiles. Through focus, determination and resilience, our students pushed themselves to exceed personal expectations. We are proud to say that every single result was built on a foundation of sustained hard work, consistently excellent approaches to learning, and positive, supportive relationships between students and staff, which are at the heart of ICHK.

Behind the raw figures lie a series of extraordinary individual success stories. Every year, all students, whatever their learning profiles, are offered the opportunity to sit the Diploma, fully aware that it can represent a significant stretch for them. This reflects our commitment both to student choice and to a growth mindset, and we take immense pride in their achievements, just as we do for those who graduate with the highest scores.

It is this holistic background to examination success that we are most proud of as a school. Our commitment to an open-door IB Diploma pathway means that annual averages may naturally fluctuate, but it reflects our foundational principle that every student should have the opportunity to pursue an ambitious, well-rounded and growth-focused education, supported to achieve their full potential.

Our graduates are now preparing to take up places at universities across the world, including Cambridge, Imperial College London, the Royal Veterinary College, Bath, Bristol, Newcastle, Hong Kong University, CUHK, HKUST, Sydney, Toronto and British Columbia.

They will be studying a diverse range of subjects, including Natural Sciences, Biomedical Science, Veterinary Medicine, Economics, Engineering, English Literature, Psychology, Business, Early Childhood Education and Nursing.

ICHK students also celebrated impressive results in their IGCSE and BTEC examinations.

100% of students received one or more grades of A*-C at IGCSE (or in equivalent terms in BTEC). Overall, 43% of grades achieved were awarded at A* or A. A total of 84% of students achieved five or more grades A*-C.

In addition, two students were awarded their International ASDAN Silver Award certificates. The awards recognise and assess key skills and personal achievements.
