Exam Results
ICHK students are once again celebrating impressive results in their IB, IGCSE and BTEC examinations.
In the IBDP, students achieved in line with their predicted grades and importantly, each secured the university courses they had selected before the exams. Our average score was 33.4 points.
Once again this year, students with a wide range of academic profiles applied themselves with focus and determination, pushing themselves to exceed personal expectations. We are proud to say that every single result was built on a foundation of hard work, consistently excellent approaches to learning, and wonderfully positive relationships between students and staff.
Behind the raw figures lie a series of extraordinary individual success stories. Every year, all students, whatever their learning profiles, are offered the opportunity to sit the Diploma, fully aware that it can represent a significant stretch for them. We take immense pride in their achievements, just as we do for those who graduate with the highest scores.
It is this holistic background to examination success that we are most proud of as a school. Whilst our commitment to an open-door IB policy inevitably means that we experience variations in annual scores, it honours our foundational principle to offer a well-rounded, aspirational, and growth-oriented education to all students.
Our graduates are now preparing to take up places at universities across the world, studying courses including Law, Biomedical Sciences, Engineering, History, Business and Fine Art.
ICHK students also celebrated impressive results in their IGCSE and BTEC examinations.
Some 97% of students received grades A*-C at IGCSE (or in equivalent terms in BTEC). Overall, 32% of grades achieved were awarded at A* or A.
In addition, four Year 11 +1 students were awarded their International ASDAN Bronze Award during the summer. The awards recognise and assess key skills and personal achievements.
Students completed a number of challenges and collected an organised portfolio of evidence which documented their personal, social and work-related abilities.
We congratulate all our students, along with the teachers and staff who have guided and supported them.
