Conference Presentation for ICHK

ICHK’s approach to digital technology will be showcased at a major education conference next month.

Director of Technology and Assessment Ross Parker will be presenting at the Asia Pacific International Schools Conference.

His talk, ‘Screens After Covid’ will invite participants to rethink the story of digital technology, and its impact on young people. Whilst Covid is certainly not ‘over’, there is a feeling that we are moving from the pandemic phase to the endemic phase. This presents an opportunity for taking stock, for reflection, and for planning ahead.

After the presentation, Ross will lead a 90-minute workshop, which will take a deeper dive into the creation, structure and form of ICHK's IT Policy. Participants will be invited to consider their own IT policy, and to develop a roadmap to take back to their schools for further discussion.

As a public speaker, Ross has presented at conferences and workshops around the world, as well as participating as a panel expert and as a regular on Hong Kong’s RTHK Radio 3.

The presentation adds to a growing list of conferences that our staff have been invited to speak at in recent years. We have seen a rapid increase in international interest in our innovations, programmes and curricula, and we now present at education conferences and summits, host workshops and meet with educators who are keen to learn about our approaches.

We are delighted to continue to share learning and innovations from ICHK with educators from around the region.
