Every year at Christmas, candy grams are created and sold to the ICHK student body.

These mini candy canes are attached to a greetings card, and students purchase them for friends and teachers alike.

During the last week of term, they are distributed as part of a programme of activities run by the SRC, designed to spread festive cheer across the campus.
All the money raised from the sales is donated to Operation Santa Claus, which supports local charities to create a better living environment for Hong Kong's neediest people.

The tradition of candy grams began in 2015 and they continue to be a strong favourite at school. In 2021, more than 2,000 of the greetings cards and candy canes were purchased and distributed.
