This is a mosaic, made by Art Teacher Amy Thibeault in September 2018, of an alien from the video game ‘Space Invader’, and is based upon the work of the eponymous artist.

It was created as part of a Deep Learning unit which combined the areas of Technology, Art, Ethics and PE.  Deep Learning is a trailblazing study programme which began at ICHK in 2017-18 with interdisciplinary learning as one of the key features.

In a similar manner to the art of Space Invader, which has been installed all around the world for people to find, these mosaics have been placed around the school for members of our community to locate.
