Youth Empowerment Service
Students have been developing new life skills, through a partnership with the Youth Empowerment Service.
Members of the YES CONNECT programme were at school, to work with upper school ASDAN students.
They ran a soap cycling session, providing students with thorough and well-structured instructions, helping them to learn about interaction with different people and in different environments.
The visit was organised by the Learning Support department, and was part of an ongoing collaboration with YES.
Students are offered valuable Deep Learning and CAS experiences with the organisation, as part of a training programme for life skills in household and community settings.
Many of our students have continued their development through YES after graduating from ICHK.
We are very proud that through our work as a school, we are supporting our students to develop wider skills and broaden their experiences.
