Year 10 and 11 Internships
Our well-established internship programme has resumed for Year 10 and 11 students.
The unique initiative offers students valuable work experience and the chance to learn new skills within a range of organisations.
Partnerships have been developed with the Crossroads Foundation, the Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club, ZAMA, LinkedIn, Kadoorie Farm, Common Farms, and Tsunami Sports, with a series of programmes created especially for our students. The common denominator across the full range is a valuable opportunity to develop life skills, gain real-life experience, and function in diverse environments, whilst allowing students to build on their portfolios for university and life beyond school.
The internship programme is a direct expression of our core belief that education should function as an epistemic apprenticeship. More than just imparting knowledge, we aim to apprentice our students into the very practice of knowing, deeply and dispositionally: how to orient, think, adapt, and apply themselves within authentic communities and complex real-world challenges.
The internship is where this apprenticeship moves beyond the classroom, offering an induction into the skills, frames of mind, self-regulation, and self-awareness required for a purposeful and engaged life.
