International College Hong Kong

Wildlife Camera

ICHK’s stunning location offers a rare glimpse into the very best of Hong Kong’s unique natural environment. Through a motion sensor camera, installed behind our campus, we have captured the movements of some of our friendly neighbours, including the protected Muntjac deer along with the more common wild boars. Other creatures that we hope to see include members of the leopard cat, pangolin, porcupine and civet cat species.

Students set up and check wildlife cameras, and take part in indigenous animal tracking exercises as part of our innovative outdoor learning programme.

It is central to our approaches at ICHK, and the spectacular countryside on the school’s doorstep provides students with unrivalled opportunities for outdoor learning.
