Our sporting teams are celebrating championship success.

Our U14 and U20 touch rugby teams were both named champions of their divisions.

The U14 Boys won the ISSFHK Silver division.

The boys overcame a determined AIS team with a 10-4 win in less than favourable weather conditions to win the league.

In a year of significant growth, the team impressively managed to stay undefeated all season and successfully integrated new players who will help to lead the team and carry the baton next year.

The U20 team also won the ISSFHK Silver division. They triumphed against West Island school with a superlative performance worthy of a final. Everyone in the 20 person squad made a contribution with the final score 12-0.

ICHK has achieved huge success in touch rugby over the years and a number of our students have competed internationally for Hong Kong in rugby.

As well as exposure to competition, our rugby programme helps develop leadership skills, as students act as coaches and mentors. They take on responsibility for training and performance and captains communicate their vision, motivate and pass on their skills and experience. Most importantly, our programme help our students develop a sense of fair play and the pride that is associated with playing at a very high level.
