Congratulations to our tennis players on their silver medal success.

The U14 semi-final run commenced with a highly anticipated rematch against ICS. The boys won one, and lost one, yet a single, vital game swung the momentum in their favour— bettering their previous draw against them two weeks ago.

Carrying this positive energy into the decisive doubles,our pairs responded with authority, dominating their courts 6-2 and 6-1 to seal a comprehensive 3-1 victory. The win propelled them into the championship final for the ultimate battle: a clash with the Division 2 top seed, South Island, for the title.

The result was a 2-2 draw in the final, but the scoring system throughout the competition meant they came away with the silver.

It was a fantastic performance that exceeded expectations and has left the team hungry for success and keen to move on together to the U16 grade next year.
