ICHK students are competing in the Global Round of the World Scholar’s Cup this weekend.

A group of 12 students has travelled to Bangkok for the next stage of the prestigious academic competition.

It follows success at the Regional Round in Shenzhen last term.

They will compete in a range of events including Team Debate, Collaborative Writing, Scholar’s Challenge, and Scholar’s Bowl, and will have the opportunity to qualify for the 2026 Tournament of Champions at Yale University.

The Scholar’s Cup is a prestigious academic competition, which attracts thousands of students from around the world every year.

This is the second year for ICHK to compete and students have been preparing diligently through debates, quizzes, and attending presentations by last year’s team members.

As well as the competition itself, the trip will be a fantastic opportunity for them to interact with students from all over the world.
