Students from the School Media Team have been learning about the work of local charity ImpactHK.

Members of the SMT practiced their interview skills by conducting a zoom interview with Maddy Crowther from the charity, for a feature in this term’s Insight magazine.

During Curriculum X, they interviewed Maddy about members of our society experiencing homelessness and made notes during the session.

The students were very attentive and asked thought- provoking questions about the charity’s history, projects and future goals. They felt inspired by some of Maddy’s responses and a significant point was how important the impact of education is.

The students learned a lot about the charity’s work and are preparing a double page feature for this term’s magazine.
