Strong progress continues with our innovative Kingston Chinese Programme.

A total of 13 students joined in Year 7 this year.

Year 8 and 9 students continue to make good progress, and are learning well through a well-balanced combination of traditional skills and interactive activities.

Our Chinese teachers met with the senior team from Kingston recently, to review the Year 7 to 9 curriculum.

Kingston Principal Ms Eliza Wong and Vice principal Ms Fenwick Tong visited ICHK to discuss the programme.

Teachers from the two schools hold regular preparation and curriculum meetings, reviewing the programme, discussing teaching plans, learning materials and student progress.

The curriculum, which was launched in 2019, is being generously funded by our primary partner KIS and provides an additional pathway to our existing languages programme.

The programme offers a strong syllabus for students who require a higher level of Chinese, and prepares them for the challenges of the Diploma Programme. It strengthens and enriches our language programme.
