The ICHK Sports Awards Evening took place at school, to celebrate the end of the year in sport.

Players from across the sporting community joined together to review a full season of sport and competition, and celebrate one another's achievements.

Over the past year ICHK has competed in Football, Volleyball, Swimming, Aquathlon, Basketball, Tennis, Cross Country, Golf, Horse Riding, MUN, Badminton, Climbing, Track and Field, Dance, Touch Rugby and Ultimate.

Awards were given in three categories to each team:

Most Valuable Player : an accolade reserved for the student who has truly excelled, making a significant impact on their team's performance.

Most Improved Player : to the student who has exemplified the values of resilience, positivity, and a continuous drive to improve.

Sportsmanship : to the student who truly embodies the ICHK Spirit, congratulates their opponent sincerely, accepts defeat gracefully, and finds the positive in every outcome.

ICHK Team Player of the Year awards were also given for participation, growth mindset and sporting excellence.

Our participation numbers this year are, quite simply, remarkable. We have seen ICHK's competitive presence in the ISSFHK grow from 25 teams last year to 29 teams this season. When we include our cross country, track and field, and bouldering squads, that number climbs to 35 teams, which is incredible for a school of just over 500 students. We are consistently punching well above our weight, even out-entering many schools twice our size in the ISSFHK leagues. A total of 286 students took part in at least one competitive sport this year, with a significant number representing the school across multiple disciplines. It means that more than 56% of our student body has represented the school.

Achievements like these are the result of the tireless energy of our coaches, the logistical support of our staff, the commitment of our parents, and—most importantly—the grit and enthusiasm of our students.
