ICHK is in the Battle of the Books final.

Our student team won the semi-final competition, which was hosted at our school.

They were competing against teams from Christian Alliance International School, ELCHK Lutheran Academy, Malvern College Hong Kong, Tai Kwong Hillary College and ESF Renaissance College, in a live battle to test their book trivia knowledge.

The students showed supportive team work, exceptional knowledge, and brilliant determination.

The team has been busy reading a range of books under the guidance of Isabel Khine and Claire Palmer, in preparation for the competition.

They have worked hard all year and given up many lunchtimes to read books, answer questions and prepare for the event. They have enjoyed a variety of literary genres, discovered new authors and gained different perspectives on the world in the process.

The annual competition, which has been running in Hong Kong since 1999, is designed to introduce students to a variety of different reading material.

We congratulate the team on their achievement and wish them the best for the finals next month.
