Congratulations to the +1 Centre students who have been successful in the prestigious Hong Kong Young Writers Award.

The nine students were all named runners-up in the Award for Fiction Group 6 category, with one student named the overall winner.

Their work will now be included in an online anthology on the Hong Kong Young Writers Award website, on Amazon - Kindle and in print on demand.

This is a fantastic achievement for the students, who are taking great benefit from being in a vibrant, caring environment, dedicated to growth and acceptance.

The HYYWA is an annual competition and fantastic opportunity for writers to showcase their talents and creativity. The awards encourage and recognise excellence in English writing and artwork among students and this year’s theme was Tales from the Mogao Grottoes.
