ICHK’s pioneering Deep Learning is officially underway.

After a successful pilot last term, students are now fully engaged in the study programme, which is aimed at encouraging independence, motivation, enjoyment and depth in learning.

Year 7 students are studying positive psychology. Other units include a water sports camp, bamboo creativity, snowboarding at Windows of the World, Rope Rigging for adventure and rescue, a Zombie Apocalypse and Cantonese Opera.

The specially designed programme combines aspects of Maths, Science, Literacy and all units require leadership, problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.

ICHK’s innovative curriculum has led to recognition from the research wing of Cambridge University, which included us in their recent list of 100 most innovative schools in the world.
