Congratulations to Scarlette Leung, who was shortlisted for the ISSFHK Coach of the Year award.

Scarlette was selected as one of three coaches from Hong Kong international schools, in recognition of her dedication to sport.

At an award ceremony, the organisers spoke at length about the extent of Scarlette’s contribution and achievements in developing volleyball at ICHK and the incredible and positive impact her hard work has made on our students and community.

Scarlette has been instrumental to the school’s success in volleyball and has been a superb role model, always going above and beyond what could be expected of her to promote sport and the values it has for educating students.

She first started volleyball as an activity at ICHK ten years ago. Under her guidance, players have achieved incredible success, winning banners in all the different age categories. This season her persistence and tenacity has led to championship wins in the boys U14, U16 and U20, an incredible achievement for a school that is still relatively small compared to other member schools.
