Our annual exchange programme is underway.

A group of students is visiting Nengren Middle School in Jiangsu province.

The students and teachers have been enjoying a packed programme of lessons and activities.

A special welcome meeting was arranged for them along with a tour of the school campus.

Since then, students have been getting to know their host families and attending lessons and culture-based activities. They joined a Chinese instrument lesson which ended with impressive performances. In art they made bags for a charity sale, and in dance they performed a Tibetan dance.

The exchange programme is aimed at enriching language study, but more than that it offers invaluable opportunities for growth in our students.

Our students are being immersed in Chinese language and culture and we look forward to them returning to school with increased confidence and resilience as a result of the experiences they have.
