Breakfast Cook Off

Year 11s took a break from their screens for a breakfast cook-off.

Students of Natalie Bailey’s Human Technologies class decamped to their kitchens to rustle up a series of culinary delights.

The activity aligned with the HT curriculum, which educates our students about the somatic technologies which promote the use and maintenance of the physical body. These are the

technologies which allow you to maintain and use your body more healthily and effectively.

Examples include any practice that helps you get enough sleep; any custom that leads to a good diet and any routine that helps you to sustain good fitness.

The example set by the Year 11s serves as a timely reminder to all students that breakfast is widely acknowledged as being the most important meal of the day.

Eating a nutritious breakfast gives us the energy we need to get things done and helps us to focus, which is even more important during these times of online learning.

We hope that the activity will inspire all our students to develop customs that lead to a healthy and nutritious start to the day.
