Congratulations to our students who acted as delegates at the Model United Nations over the weekend.
Our team of secondary students competed in a challenging two days of debate at Victoria Shanghai Academy, against more than 20 schools from Hong Kong and abroad.
Three of our delegates acted as Committee Chairs, while other students acted as UN ambassadors for a range of countries. Others had their Motions for Debate accepted to the Security Council.
MUN is an academic simulation of the United Nations aimed at raising awareness of global affairs with young people. Students represent a country as delegates, discuss, and draft resolutions on a given topic.
The next stop is Hong Kong Model United Nations in the New Year.
