Our new library ordering system has been unveiled to students.
The new library database ‘Oliver’ was developed during the period of campus closure, and allows students to order, reserve and review books.
All our books have been categorised into genres, making it easier for students to search in advance for titles.
Students in Years 6 and 4 are already using the system and from next term, every student in the school will have their own login.
The database is the latest stage in the development of the library into a central hub of learning.
It is enabling students to be more empowered and independent in their borrowing, and allows for online reviews and recommendations to be shared.
We thank Teacher Librarian Charlie Beard, Library Assistant Dawn Leo and IT Assistant Victoria Tsui for all their work in developing the new system.
