ICHK Secondary is delighted to be making the headlines for our fundraising efforts for Operation Santa Claus.
The Student Representative Council organised a Christmas fundraising drive, where members showed creative thinking, drive and commitment, to spread some festive joy and raise $12,389 for the charity.
Money was money raised from the sale of candy grams and Christmas fair goods, and in the last week of term, more than 2,000 candy grams were purchased and distributed.
All the proceeds were donated to OSC, which supports local charities to create a better living environment for Hong Kong’s neediest people.
The efforts of the SRC have now been showcased in the South China Morning Post.
At ICHK we take pride in educating our students about how they can help to create a better future for others in Hong Kong and around the world.
Our students are encouraged to be thoughtful, to care for others, to understand the importance of serving the community and how, through their actions, they can make a difference.
We are pleased to have been recognised for our efforts, and so proud of our students.
