Year 10 Science students had an incredible afternoon at Disneyland, discovering the vast world of physical science and witnessing how science and creativity produce some of the most thrilling and exciting attractions at the park.
As part of Disney’s World of Physics programme they explored the park and were amazed and enlightened through hands-on experiments focusing on Newton’s Laws of Motion, pneumatics, fluorescence, sound and much more.
A wonderful Christmas fair for Operation Santa Claus has been held at secondary. The Student Representative Council pulled out all the stops to ensure an amazing afternoon of games, activities and delicious food and drink.

Students across the school have been busy producing festive arts and crafts .
Children in Year 3 made snowmen from socks, rice and rubber bands, reading instructional texts and then following the steps needed. It was a wonderful learning experience for them, allowing them to be creative and independent.

A new agreement has been signed with the primary partner schools of ICHK, ensuring the long term security of a through-train education for those with children of primary age.
The new partnership guarantees places for students from ICHK Kindergarten and Primary, KIS and JIS at ICHK.

Our newly elected Student Council has unveiled a Quiet Tent at school, aimed at providing a restful sanctuary during break times.
The members have been considering ways of introducing themselves to students and providing a beneficial service.
Their first project is the Quiet Tent, which offers a space on the playground to enjoy a calming environment, listen to relaxing music, do some mindful colouring or paper puzzles.
A day of bread making at school provided valuable learning opportunities for students.
