Thunderbolt is a technology that Intel made and it has the fastest transfer speed yet. Intel claims that it could transfer 10 Gigabytes of information per second. That means it could transfer all of the information in a non-upgraded MacBook just in 25 seconds even if it was full. It is also very versatile. You can use it to transfer documents, powerpoints and applications, and you can connect it to a external display port to enlarge your workspace. One small port, one giant leap in possibilities. You just need to connect it to you MacBook Pro or any computer that has a thunderbolt port and that's it!
