The iPad is a touch screen tablet computer made by Apple Inc. It is used for music, video, movies, books, newsletters, games and many other things. The iPad runs in the same system as the iPhone and iTouch and can run in the apps for the iPhone. It is very fast.
The iPad was released with three options of storage: 16 GB, 32 GB and the 64 GB. All the information is stored there with no way to expand the storage. The iPad 2 has the ability to use both WIFI and 3-G, and there is a slot for SIM card (not mini SIM card).

- The IPad was, in reality,a redesigned Newton message pad, a product made by Apple Inc in the 1990s. Yet it proved more successful that the message pad, mainly due to the fact that the IPad has a sleeker design and is fully touchscreen.[1]
iPad 2
Apple's CEO revealed the second generation of the iPad to the market on March 2, 2011. It is about 33% (one-third) thiner and 15% lighter. The iPad two has a better processor dual core Apple A5 than the first iPad and works twice as fast due to the new processor. Also, there is a camera added on the top of the iPad 2, without getting in the way of the screen. Another good function is that one of the covers is a flip-up and can make your iPad 2 go to sleep. Once you close the lid, then the iPad 2 will go to sleep.
