What Is iChat?
iChat is an instant messaging application that makes it easy to stay in touch with friends and family using text and video chat. iChat is the largest instant messaging community in the U.S., which means you and your friends can us it on a Mac or a PC. iChat works on all Mac's and is very useful.
What does iChat do?
iChat lets you chat, audio chat, and video chat with friends and family from around the world. You can have a one on one conversation or have a group conversation. iChat can be found in your Application folder and is easy to use. To use iChat, you will need internet connection and an account on either iCloud, AIM, Jabber, MobileMe, Google Chat or Yahoo.
How do you use iChat?
iChat is simple to use.
- Open iChat using spotlight, or open it from your dock.
- For first time users, follow the instructions to set up iChat.
- After you set up iChat, then you will be able to add chat buddies
- Your status can be changed using the pop-up menu. You can also add a custom one.
