Air Drop is a extra feature in finder that is included in lion that allows you to share files easily with other lion users. All you have to do is to ask the other person to go on their Air Drop and he/she will show up on the rader. Then you drag the file you want to share to their icon and it will share it. It is quite similar to Bluetooth.
