In keeping with our school’s focus on information literacy, and creative and critical thinking, ICHK is proud to offer our first annual Chinese New Year Quiz! All members of the family can work together to try and determine the answers to these 50 questions. We will offer house points for the first, second and third place winners. Please note these are Dragon Questions intended for edgy people! Deadline is Sunday February 5 at 5:00 pm HKT. In case of a tie, the family sending their response first will be declared the winner. Email your answers to CNYquiz@ichk.edu.hk.
Exchange Programme
My thanks to Amanda Luk and Raymond Chan for helping to organize the exchange programme with students from Nengren Middle School, which is located around 2 hours drive from Shanghai. The focus for this exchange is to develop intercultural awareness and for students to develop their communication skills. The visit from the students from Nantong will occur from Feb 1 to 7th. My thanks to the families who have offered to billet students during this exchange. More details will come next week. A copy of the powerpoint used during the presentation is available here.
Families who attended the meeting on Thursday evening were handed a questionnaire related to bus arrangements and activities. Please hand in the questionnaire to Mr Chan no later than next Monday, January 16. Many Thanks.

My thanks to those of you who attended this event on Wednesday. I have attached a copy of the powerpoint as a pdf file for those parents who would like a copy. The appendices provide web site addresses for additional information including where to find the actual syllabus of the different subjects.
